Besure is a service offering chlamydia screening to all males and females under 25 years of age living in Birmingham and Solihull.
We are part of the National Chlamydia Screening Programme which recommends that all sexually active young people under 25 years of age undertake an annual chlamydia screen, regardless of whether you have signs or symptoms.
If you are under 16 years of age you are welcome to take part in the Besure programme but you will need to talk to a health professional first.
If you are over 25 years old we are sorry but you will not be able to take part in this screening programme, unless your partner has been part of this scheme. If you would like to be tested for Chlamydia or other sexually transmitted infections contact your local genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic or your GP. (details can be found on the useful information page)
At Besure we are always trying to improve our information dissemination process and we would be interested in your comments.
